I went in to doctors on 10th April needing help as my hearing aid had broken. I am severely deaf and can't hear a thing without it I e needed emergency attention. Previously if i had this problem i was referred to David Ormrod at Marehay, who would repair in about a week and get batteries. Now told to go to Scrivens where it didn't matter this was a real problem and had to make an appointment, earliest 8th May, a whole MONTH. So care was certainly Not good, it's unbelievable that you can't get emergency attention for a month. I have total deafness so this is so dabilitating to have no hearing at all for a month. Since Christmas they were supposed to be reviewing my hearing and getting a new hearing aid. There is no urgency at all for them. I want to put my name to this to voice my dissatisfaction L Farnsworth (sent from my sister's tablet)

Have been with this practice since Dr. Williams in the 1940s.The service now is the worst it has ever been. for over two years i have been having a monthly prescription of stoma products. They have only managed to get it right about 3 times. It is an ordeal every month.David the nurse saw me two weeks ago and said I will send you a prescription to the chemist. it never arrived and I have still not had it. Two weeks ago Dr Mott saw me and said make an appointment to see me end of March to early April . I tried to do this yesterday and was told I would have telephone from the 26th of March onwards at 7.30 am each morning to get one. I asked to speak to someone of authority to complain. Receptionist made enquiries and said she will ring me.As i expected no one has rung. What can one do but leave this practice and that is what I am going to do.But then again that is probably what they want

needed repeat medication, website failed as usual, unfriendly and difficult to use and never works anyway. Called the surgery to ask for medication, can't have it despite telling the reception that I need these I can't even get a call back until next Monday!! Offered the opportunity of getting up every morning to call at 7:30 to be told no appointments are available. staff are no doubt in a difficult position and trying to operate a failing process but could be a lot nicer when doing it. Customer care and service should still apply to doctors reception staff.

The appointment procedure. It isn't often that either myself or my family are at the doctors, but when we ring for an appointment we can barely get a suitable appointment. Today I needed an appointment for myself after 144 attempts to get through.
